We are pleased to announce a new West Coast presence, with the arrival of Patricia Lightburn, our new Senior Consultant based in the Vancouver (BC) area, and David Pickup, our new Senior Analyst in Calgary (AB). Our presence now extends from coast to coast, with its main offices in Montreal and Toronto.

Patricia, who will lead our efforts on the West Coast, brings well over a decade of experience across Dunsky’s three core focus areas: energy efficiency, renewables and clean mobility. Her unique mix of analytical, policy and communications skills, combined with deep sector knowledge and experience, will allow us to serve our West Coast clients better than ever.

“I am so thrilled to be joining the Dunsky team. I was attracted by Dunsky’s deep dedication to supporting the clean energy transition, and its reputation as the “go-to” for governments, utilities and others looking to move the needle forward, responsibly and effectively. I look forward to meeting our West Coast clients, listening to their needs, and diving into some of the exciting and innovative work we’re supporting them with.”

Patricia Lightburn

Philippe Dunsky and Patricia Lightburn will both be at the Globe Forum underway in Vancouver this week. If you will be there, don’t hesitate to reach out to either – they’d love to see you there!

About Patricia Lightburn:  Patricia brings over a decade of experience in leadership roles in clean energy in Canada and abroad. She has significant expertise in advancing renewable energy, having worked for one of Canada’s leading clean energy companies, Innergex Renewable Energy, as well as the renewable energy procurement team at the Ontario Power Authority (now IESO). At the International Energy Agency, she helped deliver the inaugural Energy Efficiency market report, which launched the ‘first fuel’ concept for energy efficiency. As manager of the Clean Power Pathways project, Patricia led a multi-year collaboration between the David Suzuki Foundation and university researchers to assess how Canada can both clean its grid and electrify buildings and mobility.

Patricia is a strong communicator with a passion for working across silos to deliver a wide range of climate and energy projects. She has contributed to several publications on renewable energy, energy efficiency, electric mobility and district energy, and holds a master’s in International Energy from Sciences Politiques, Paris. Patricia looks forward to supporting the clean energy transition with current and existing clients in British Columbia and across North America.
