For the second year in a row, Dunsky took part in Giving Tuesday, a new movement for giving and volunteering that takes place each year immediately following Black Friday. This year, at the request of Montreal’s Old Brewery Mission – a network of shelters and services for the city’s homeless – our team performed a free energy audit on one of the organization’s pavilion.

With 200 temporary residents housed every night and 1000 meals served per day, combined with the extreme temperatures of our city, the Mission’s energy bills are high. We identified low-cost energy saving opportunities that will allow OMB to lower its energy bills and, of course, redirect savings towards the critical job of providing shelter, food, other services and hope to those who have so little of any.

In addition to this volunteer project, we continue to provide substantial financial support to an array of important charities – over 70 so far – whose critical work makes our world a far better place for all.
