Utility Projects on the Go 

Our team is currently supporting utilities on both coasts (and others in between) with a variety of strategic initiatives. Here is a summary of what we’re working on:

• Load forecasting: Helping multiple Canadian and U.S. utilities forecast the impact of building and transportation electrification on the grid and developing strategies to mitigate load impacts.
• DER valuation: Supporting two utility clients with assessing the true value that Solar PV and other DERs bring to the grid to support the development of modernized compensation mechanisms.
• DSM potential: Conducting market potential assessments for energy efficiency, demand response and heating electrification for utilities in the central US and eastern Canada.
• EV rate design: Developing a suite of EV rate designs for two eastern Canadian utilities to support beneficial electrification.
• Financial disclosure: Providing scenario development and analysis for a utility in support of its public financial disclosure process.
