Philippe brings 30 years of business and policy experience focused on a singular passion: helping clients accelerate and navigate the clean energy transition, effectively, responsibly and at scale. He has the honour of leading a first-rate team of 60 professionals, and the privilege of supporting clients among North America’s climate leaders.

As a trusted adviser to both executives and policymakers, Philippe helps organizations chart the course toward decarbonization without losing sight of economic imperatives. His experience spans the full array of solutions across both energy supply and demand (buildings, mobility and industry). His work is informed by three decades of experience assessing markets, designing policies and programs, conducting techno-economic studies, building regulatory frameworks and defining market strategies. He is regularly called as an expert witness at regulatory proceedings.

Philippe is notably adept at storytelling and is a recognized thought leader with a unique ability to bridge technology, market, regulatory and policy spheres. He is a sought-after speaker, an experienced board administrator and is regularly appointed to public interest advisory committees. In 2023, Philippe was appointed Chair of the Canada Electricity Advisory Council. He is also Co-Chair of Efficiency Canada and a member of the Electrifying Canada Taskforce, among other positions. Philippe was recognized in 2021 as one of Canada’s Clean50 leaders, and in 2022 as one of North America’s Top 100 Impact CEOs.

Alex has over 20 years experience leading energy efficiency initiatives, through which he has performed a wide range of opportunity assessments, program and policy designs, and program evaluations. Alex leads our Opportunity Assessment practice, which focuses on delivering industry-leading potential studies that quantify the technical, economic and achievable potentials for energy efficiency, demand response, heating electrification, solar PV, and electric vehicles. He also leads our Efficiency and Renewables Financing practice, providing thought leadership for our market assessments, financing program design and evaluation work.

His experience prior to joining our team covers a range of on-the-ground work with energy auditing, recommissioning and high-performance green building construction. Alex prides himself on providing clients with real, implementable solutions to their clean energy challenges.

Raegan brings a practical and highly personable approach to supporting her clients’ decarbonization and climate goals. With over two decades of experience in the energy sector, Raegan takes a big picture perspective while never losing sight of the key details that make for truly impactful work. With professional experience in the private, public and utility sectors, Raegan brings a proven ability to understand and bridge perspectives among diverse stakeholders and to build common ground.

Leading Dunsky’s Design Strategies practice, Raegan helps clients harness data and analytics to develop effective and actionable strategies. She has led some of Dunsky’s most significant projects for utilities and all levels of government focused on decarbonization pathways, climate action planning, clean mobility and energy efficiency. She is a strong advocate of evidence-based decision making, inclusive strategic planning and rigorous program performance management. Raegan is also an expert facilitator. She loves leading diverse groups though engaging processes to meet a common goal.

Prior to joining Dunsky, Raegan was responsible for efficiency programming as a VP with Alectra Utilities and is a past Board Chair of the Association of Energy Services Professionals (AESP). A champion for young professionals, Raegan is a thoughtful mentor to members of our growing team. Her extensive professional experience is supported by a Master of Environmental Change and Management from the University of Oxford.

Ahmed brings experience advising utilities, system operators, governments, and other actors across North America with their efforts to accelerate and navigate the energy transition. Combining deep technical knowledge with strategic foresight, Ahmed has guided numerous clients through the critical intersections of technical, policy, regulatory and strategic issues within the evolving electricity sector. Drawing on expertise in renewable energy, energy storage, electric vehicles (EVs), Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) and other emerging technologies, his work informs and shapes clients’ corporate strategy, system planning, project development, and policy/regulatory initiatives.

In addition to leading and contributing hundreds of mandates at Dunsky, his expertise builds on prior experiences working on emerging utility business models, renewable energy policy, energy markets and other related issues. Ahmed holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and an MBA from McGill University (Canada) as well as a master’s degree in energy science from ETH Zurich (Switzerland). Ahmed’s work is motivated by a desire to contribute to a sustainable energy future and a belief in the importance of the interplay technology and policy/strategy as the catalyst for achieving that vision.

Marie-Noel has over 15 years of management experience with mission-driven organizations, both in Canada and the United Kingdom. She brings strong strategic planning, project management and people management skills to her teams.

Prior to joining Dunsky, she developed and implemented long-term strategic plans, client relationship management strategies, process optimization projects and stakeholder engagement programs at Canada World Youth, McGill University and the British Council. She also sits on the board of Récolte, a non-profit focused on strengthening the impact and sustainability of social innovation in our local food system. Marie-Noel holds a master’s degree in business administration. Her career path has been motivated by a desire to make our world a more environmentally and socially sustainable place.

François brings 24 years of experience in sustainable energy and engineering. He provides in-depth knowledge of energy efficiency programs and opportunities spanning the residential, commercial and industrial sectors. He is particularly adept at assessing technical and market solutions, and regularly plays a critical role in evaluating opportunities (including technical reference manuals, potential studies and innovative technologies) and in designing and evaluating program strategies. Francois also has extensive experience with cost-effectiveness framework and stays abreast of the latest approaches and considerations.

Prior to joining our team, François managed a residential energy efficiency audit and retrofit program, oversaw the construction of a high-performance (LEED Platinum) commercial office building, conducted renewable energy and energy efficiency policy reviews, and was the lead engineer for numerous analyses of industrial processes in Canada and internationally. In all his endeavours, François strives to bring clarity and purpose in support of a sustainable energy future.

Ben brings a unique background in both statistical methods and policy development to help clients navigate the complex challenges of simultaneously stabilizing and decarbonizing the electricity grid. Ben’s first-hand experience in power planning, as well as his strength with complex planning models, supports the development of effective energy policies for clients.

Prior to joining Dunsky, Ben was the director of power planning for the Northwest Power and Conservation Council, where he was responsible for the power plan development of the regional electric grid serving Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Washington states. He brings in-depth knowledge of the need for and value of energy storage and dispatchable generation to grid operations. With a focus on decarbonizing grids, Ben’s expertise helps clients understand how to leverage the increasing penetration of renewables and storage while integrating them into a reliable utility portfolio.

Ben is a thought leader and sought-after speaker and has been interviewed for national media including National Public Radio (NPR) and the Associated Press. He has a master’s in statistics from Portland State University which he has leveraged to build complex risk-informed analyses to help move toward clean energy sources while maintaining reliable energy systems.

Martin has 30 years of experience in the energy sector, most notably in the design, review and evaluation of energy efficiency programs and plans, and the assessment of opportunities at the measure, program and plan levels. Martin’s experience spans the full breadth of sectors and fuel sources, as well as related issues such as cost-benefit analyses and utility regulation.

Martin is particularly adept at complex strategic and analytical tasks, including both energy and economic modelling. He has led the design of Dunsky’s user-friendly achievable demand-side management potential model, and has led evaluation projects, including impact and process evaluations, market assessments, and EM&V planning and oversight. Martin also has experience managing strategic reviews and program redesigns. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s in sociology, and is a Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP).

Alexis combines an engineering background and eight years of management consulting, where he developed and implemented C-suite level strategies for industry leaders, institutions, and different levels of government in Quebec.

Prior to joining Dunsky, Alexis was a senior engagement manager at McKinsey & Company, where he primarily served electric utilities. He developed a deep knowledge of supply-demand planning, operations optimization, as well as North American energy markets and regulation. In addition, Alexis brings a functional expertise in corporate strategy, company-wide transformation, continuous improvement, customer experience and advanced analytics – he led multiple teams of data scientists and data engineers in creating predictive and optimization engines. Through these experiences Alexis developed robust skills in communication, problem-solving and project management.

Alexis holds a master’s degree in industrial engineering from École des Ponts ParisTech, in partnership with Polytechnique Montreal. Alexis is passionate about climate change mitigation and joined Dunsky to devote his focus to accelerating the energy transition!

Sam provides clients with exceptional strategic advice, decision facilitation and technical expertise across clean energy and decarbonization policy, program design, and analysis. He has over 10 years of proven success leading collaborative stakeholder consensus-building, overseeing the development of purpose-built quantitative models and analytical tools, and applying rigorous best practices in clean energy, environmental economics, financial analysis, and climate science.

Sam has developed and won approval for innovative demand-side management and decarbonization programs; supported state agencies and utility regulators in long-term planning to achieve policy objectives; developed and deployed near-term oversight and continuous improvement processes for clean energy programs; and built out organizational infrastructure to tackle emerging challenges and opportunities.

Sam understands that communication is core to driving the clean energy transition, and enjoys distilling rigorous analysis into clear, actionable recommendations. He believes that environmental justice and economic benefits can be achieved together through well-designed decarbonization policies & programs.

Jeff’s passion for clean mobility and advanced energy technologies has led to a career at the nexus of sustainable transportation, energy storage, demand response and renewable energy. His experience – more than 15 years working with vehicle manufacturers, research institutes, utilities and governments – affords him a unique, grounded perspective on what is needed to move the needle on market adoption of clean energy technologies. Jeff’s work has covered personal and commercial vehicle engineering, electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, energy storage technology, vehicle-grid integration, and demand response, among others.

Jeff is a recognized leader in transportation electrification, and currently serves on the board of Electric Mobility Canada. Prior to joining our team, Jeff worked at Powertech Labs, a subsidiary of BC Hydro, where he led EV charging infrastructure initiatives, supported EV adoption within corporate and government fleets, and contributed to the development of utility and government programs and policies. Jeff also spent two years working for Azure Dynamics, a manufacturer of electric and hybrid trucks and commercial vehicles. Jeff holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from McGill University. Jeff’s passion for sustainability drives both his profession and his personal life, and he loves collaborating with clients in their efforts to accelerate the clean energy transition.

Pamela is a seasoned project manager with over 20 years of consulting experience supporting public and private sector clients on issues related to climate change mitigation and accounting, energy efficiency, green growth, and other sustainability issues. Since joining Dunsky, she has led projects to support municipalities in their clean energy transition—including the development of a clean energy roadmap for municipalities across Canada, support for Google’s Environmental Impacts Explorer (EIE) tool to accelerate climate action in Canadian cities, and assessments for remote diesel communities to develop sustainable energy plans.

Previously with ICF, Pamela supported the development of national greenhouse gas inventories for the US and the UK, as well as corporate environmental inventories and CDP reports for Fortune 500 companies. She holds a MSc in Environmental Science and Policy from Johns Hopkins University. Pamela is passionate about using strong analytics and clear communications to make this planet a cleaner, more sustainable place.

Nathalia has 18 years of experience in business strategy and transformation. She is a high-performing multi-disciplinary leader, who at the age of 32 became the general manager of Yves Rocher North America where she led 450 employees. In 2022, she co-founded and oversaw Propulia Capital, a seed-stage fund where she acted as an impact investor in Cleantech companies. At Dunsky, Nathalia leverages her first-hand experience to help companies understand how net-zero can benefit their operations, develop roadmaps and strategies to decarbonize their activities, and seize the business opportunities presented by the clean energy transition.

Nathalia began her career founding a consulting start-up in digital services and communication in Mexico City.  Today, she is an experienced manager who has worked around the world and holds two master’s degrees: the first in business management from the Sauder School of Business (UBC), and the second in regenerative economics from Schumacher college, based in the UK.

As a strong advocate for life-enabling economic principles, Nathalia is passionate about sharing her experience and expertise through coaching, and helping businesses embrace the energy transition for our shared benefit.

Mathieu combines an engineering background with 12 years of experience in efficiency and decarbonization, from building-level projects to sectoral policies and strategies. He supports clients with his unique ability to synthesize highly detailed analysis into actionable insights. Mathieu serves as the firm’s heating decarbonization lead and has conducted multiple provincial and State decarbonization studies, from load impact assessments to optimized pathways. Since joining Dunsky, he has also led the development of an award-winning energy efficiency investment plan for a major Canadian hardware retailer, coordinated the expert working group focused on electrification as part of the development of Québec’s 2030 Climate Change Action Plan, and led the development of a decarbonization guide for businesses for the Québec Federation of Chambers of commerce (FCCQ).

Prior to joining the team, Mathieu worked for an engineering consulting firm and an ESCO as an energy efficiency project manager and designer. Mathieu holds a master’s in mechanical engineering from École Polytechnique de Montréal as well as a master’s in business administration (MBA) from HEC Montréal. As a rational idealist, he’s looking for pragmatic and sustainable solutions to collective challenges.

Patricia is a managing consultant at Dunsky based in Squamish B.C. with 15 years of experience in leadership roles in climate and energy policy. Having worked for and with governments, corporations, NGOs and utilities across Canada, she brings a strong understanding of the energy policy and regulatory frameworks needed to get to net zero, in a practical and cost-effective way. Patricia is also a seasoned project manager who has delivered a range of complex multi-stakeholder initiatives across the clean energy sector. Building relationships and breaking down silos to develop robust, real-world solutions for the energy transition is what makes her tick.

Recent project highlights include working with a provincial government to deliver a long-term economy-wide Energy Policy Framework, managing the design of a national multi-billion dollar retrofit financing program for commercial buildings and delivering a variety of municipal strategies to accelerate electric vehicles and charging infrastructure. Patricia has a master’s degree in energy studies from Sciences Politiques, Paris.

Prior to joining our team, Patricia worked for one of Canada’s leading renewable energy companies and at the Ontario Power Authority (now IESO). At the International Energy Agency, she helped deliver the inaugural Energy Efficiency market report, which launched the ‘first fuel’ concept for energy efficiency. As manager of the Clean Power Pathways project, Patricia led a multi-year collaboration between the David Suzuki Foundation and university researchers to assess how Canada can both clean its grid and electrify buildings and mobility.

Leslie is an economist with more than 17 years of experience in energy and environmental policy – as well as broad knowledge of energy markets and legislative/regulatory environments – across Canada and the United States.

Prior to joining our team, Leslie was with Acadia Center, a sustainable energy think-tank, where she worked on energy efficiency, renewable energy, grid modernization, and carbon pricing issues. She has led various analytic studies, including assessments of the macroeconomic impacts of energy efficiency, and the economic value of distributed solar (to the grid and society), among others.

Leslie holds an MSc from the University of London, Imperial College with a specialization in environmental economics. She credits her dedication to environmental protection and collaborative problem solving to her small-town roots on Prince Edward Island.

Brendan helps utility, government and private-sector clients implement strategies to effectively decarbonize the transportation and building sectors and is a passionate leader in the energy transition.

Brendan has been central to some of North America’s most innovative climate policy. Notably, he led development of the world’s first 100% “EV Ready” residential parking requirement, and has since advised multiple municipalities on such requirements (including the Cities of Toronto and Vancouver). Likewise, he designed the first-of-its-kind BC EV Ready Retrofit program for BC Hydro. With regards to buildings, Brendan was instrumental in the development of the BC Energy Step Code (an energy “reach code”) and subsequent carbon performance requirements. He has also assisted a wide range of clients with strategic planning; energy project financing programs; building rating and disclosure; EV charging infrastructure; and building decarbonization strategies.

In his 16 years working on climate policy before joining Dunsky, Brendan held several roles, including: directing an electric mobility and decarbonization practice at a prominent electrical engineering firm; sustainability manager at the City of Richmond, BC; associate director of the MIT Green Economic Development Initiative; and a consultant at a leading urban planning firm, and later as a sole proprietor.

Brendan thrives when developing elegant solutions to complex, interdisciplinary and politically-contentious problems. He is dedicated to realizing zero-emissions, healthy, beautiful and equitable communities. He received a master’s in city planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Lauren brings over 15 years of experience planning, designing and implementing innovative programs and policies. With a keen understanding of consumer behaviour and markets, she supports clients on leading edge initiatives such as energy rating and disclosure policies, innovative financing, behaviour-based programs, shared mobility and electric vehicles. Prior to joining our team, Lauren held positions planning and overseeing programs for municipal governments and for Efficiency Nova Scotia. A great listener and facilitator, she builds strong relationships with clients and stakeholders alike.

Lauren’s extensive experience in project management, planning, design, measurement and evaluation, and stakeholder relations complements her degree in environmental science. Always the optimist, Lauren knows that while the challenge is great, the energy transition will succeed because we are steadfast, imagine the possibilities and will make them a reality.

Lindsay is a core member of Dunsky’s Clean Mobility practice and supports clients by connecting big-picture objectives to the details that matter for effective programs and projects. With a unique understanding of transportation policies at the municipal, provincial and federal levels, Lindsay is known for building productive relationships and developing shared strategies toward a common goal. A registered professional planner, Lindsay brings 10 years of experience at the nexus of urban planning and clean energy, designing solutions at the national and local scale.

Prior to joining Dunsky, Lindsay served as senior project manager at the City of Toronto, where she spearheaded and procured Toronto’s first electric automated shuttle trial. She also led the design of the City’s Transportation Innovation Zones Program and managed neighbourhood-scale transportation studies. She also held roles as the managing director of the Transportation and Urban Solutions team at the Pembina Institute, as a senior consultant at Acertys/Hill+Knowlton.

Fully bilingual, Lindsay holds a master’s degree in urban planning from McGill University and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Queen’s University. Across her work and volunteering roles, Lindsay brings a passion for building more green, just, and healthy communities.

Jean-Philippe support Dunsky’s clients with a significant track record in building engineering and project management, grounded in 19 of experience in the energy efficiency and decarbonization sector.

Jean-Philippe is Dunsky’s former director of buildings and now partners with our firm as an external senior advisor, where he provides valuable technical and strategic advice related to our building decarbonization projects. He is also the technical lead, energy efficiency, at Ambioner, an engineering firm focused on energy efficiency and sustainable buildings.

While working for Dunsky between 2018 and 2023, Jean-Philippe led major projects in energy efficiency and renewable energy opportunities assessment, the design of strategies and flagship measures, and the development of action plans and policies to achieve energy efficiency and greenhouse gas reductions in the transportation and building sectors.

Previously, he was director of engineering for a Montreal-based Energy Services Company, managing a team of engineers and technicians, and overseeing all technical aspects of Energy Performance Contracts in Quebec and Ontario. Jean-Philippe is fully committed, personally and professionally, to achieving complete environmental sustainability in all aspects of human activity, and prides himself in helping clients move towards this objective.

Stéphanie brings five years of experience in modeling and analysis in the fields of energy efficiency and energy systems. She supports clients by leveraging her technical expertise and attention to detail to assess the potential and the economic, environmental and energy impacts of decarbonization strategies for buildings.

Prior to joining Dunsky, she worked at Natural Resources Canada’s Canmet ENERGY research center, where she played a key role in the testing, modeling and techno-economic analysis of heat pump technologies to support building electrification. Stéphanie also has field experience in energy management and in the demonstration of hybrid power systems for various northern and remote applications.

Stéphanie holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in Switzerland and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from McGill University. She is registered as a professional engineer in Québec. Stéphanie is proud to be involved in accelerating the energy transition by working on impactful projects as well as popularizing science and providing energy advice to her peers.

Kris leverages his on-the-ground experience in energy efficiency to support strategic decision-making and help clients achieve the objectives that are important to them. He brings six years of experience in industrial and building energy efficiency, process control and construction management. Prior to joining Dunsky, Kris worked at an energy services firm designing and implementing waste heat and efficiency solutions for a wide range of industrial clients and before that, he designed measurement and process control solutions for aerospace and other industrial applications, gaining valuable insight into clients’ energy flows. Kris holds a master’s degree in energy engineering from École Polytechnique de Montréal and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from McGill University. His motivation for accelerating the clean energy transition stems from his curiosity for all things energy-related and his concern for the environment, in particular the effect of climate change on his beloved winter sports.

Ali brings a practical and highly responsive approach to working with clients in environmental & greenhouse gas accounting, climate risk and resilience analysis, strategy & policy development, and building and transportation electrification. With over 14 years of experience, Ali has worked with companies around the world on environmental MRV initiatives and science-based target setting; led the development of campus-wide climate mitigation, risk, and education initiatives within higher ed; and applied a climate lens to local government community plans while implementing home energy retrofit financing programs and municipal EV strategies. At Dunsky, she works with municipalities, regulatory agencies, governments, and utilities to assess, implement, and evaluate low-carbon programs and policies.

Ali is passionate about ensuring a just climate transition. She is committed to thoughtful, intentional, and technically sound outputs that help overcome systemic inequities and enable low-carbon resilience for all communities and organizations.

Charles brings four years of experience as a senior software engineer, specializing in optimizing search algorithms and high-availability cloud services.

Prior to joining Dunsky, Charles worked on the design, development and integration of a product search and discovery platform in the e-commerce sector. He focused on personalizing and optimizing customer experiences using AI models to enhance user satisfaction. Charles was also responsible for developing engineering strategies, engineering roadmaps and software architecture plans, all geared towards presenting a medium- to long-term technical vision combining performance and simplicity.

Charles holds a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering with a specialization in AI from Polytechnique Montréal. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in mathematics applied to extreme weather and climate , focusing on updating intensity-duration-frequency curves using robust statistical methods under future climate conditions to better quantify the return periods of extreme rainfall events. Charles is a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec and serves on the committee for the promotion of excellence in the profession.

For Charles, sustainability is a fundamental priority in the software development industry, alongside performance, security, cost, and accessibility. He believes that integrating sustainability is essential for achieving a fair and equitable technological future.

Blake is a senior consultant based in Ottawa, with over six years of working at the nexus of climate and economic policy. Blake has several years of experience advising senior federal Cabinet ministers – including the Minister of Finance, the Minister of Natural Resources, and the Minister of Transport – on key climate and energy policy files, including mobility, industrial decarbonization, and emissions reductions plans across sectors. These experiences have given her unique insight and expertise of the policy considerations on the transition to net-zero by 2050. In addition to strong subject-matter expertise, she has a deep understanding of government decision-making, legislative and parliamentary procedure, and public affairs. Blake is known for excellent stakeholder management and building meaningful relationships. Prior to her time on Parliament Hill, she worked as a consultant for a leading government relations and public affairs agency.

Blake holds a master’s degree in political management from Carleton University and a bachelor’s degree in health sciences (honours) from McMaster University. Blake believes that a strong commitment and serious pathway to decarbonization will be essential to economic prosperity and competitiveness for future generations.

Janice is an environmental professional with more than 20 years of experience in designing and implementing energy and climate change programs and projects.  She blends experience from government, as well as the private and non-profit sectors to provide clients with realistic, science-based recommendations and deliverables.

Prior to joining our team, Janice worked on climate change strategy for the City of Ottawa. There, she led the City’s private building retrofit strategy and programs as well as the climate change financial planning processes. Janice also has an entrepreneurial background, managing the development of energy projects for the Ottawa Renewable Energy Cooperative.

Janice holds a masters of Environmental Studies, as well as a bachelor’s degree in environmental science and international development from Dalhousie University. She is an active volunteer and believes in making climate solutions fun and community-building.

Lorenzo leverages his multidisciplinary background to foster clarity and insight for clients working at the intersections of energy policy, technology, and markets. He possesses over six years of experience in consulting, project management and program monitoring & evaluation for a wide range of public, private and not-for-profit clients. Prior to joining Dunsky, Lorenzo managed a major project ($7M) funded by Infrastructure Canada and the City of Montréal, where he supervised a team of five. He also brings extensive experience as a strategy and program evaluation consultant, having advised clients such as the Government of Canada, Siemens, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and others across more than 30 mandates related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Fully bilingual, Lorenzo is known for effective stakeholder management, combining curiosity with precise analysis, systems thinking, and engaging communications. He holds a BA in Economics, Philosophy and Politics from Oxford University, an MA in Political Science from McGill University, as well as an online MBA. Lorenzo wishes to live in a fair and sustainable society, an aspiration that drives him both personally and professionally.

Maddy brings over three years of experience in the clean mobility sector and supporting clients through effective project management, technical and policy research and analysis, and stakeholder engagement. Prior to joining Dunsky, she worked for the Pembina Institute, a clean energy think tank, where she was responsible for overseeing and executing a wide range of research projects on topics such as fleet electrification, improving the efficiency of heavy-duty trucks, as well as policy options to support emissions reductions from transportation. Maddy leverages her extensive knowledge of low-carbon transportation solutions and the current policy landscape to help bridge the gap between technical, policy and market conditions and help clients develop meaningful insights and actions. She holds a master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Toronto and a bachelor’s degree in environmental science from Queen’s University.

Steven brings over a decade of experience in demand-side management. Responsive and practical, Steven supports our utility and government clients as they tackle the complex challenges related to energy efficiency program design and building sector decarbonization.

Steven also understands our clients’ perspectives first-hand.  A former Senior Engineer at ATCO Gas, Steven led the regulatory strategy for DSM funding in support of ATCO’s decarbonization goals. Prior to that, Steven served as Senior Policy Advisor for the BC government’s Built Environment Branch where he led policy development and stakeholder consultation to update BC’s DSM regulation. Steven also spent eight years as an Energy Efficiency Engineer at FortisBC where he approved and led the measurement and verification of energy-saving projects for commercial and industrial customers. Those projects covered measures such as lighting, HVAC, hot water, compressed air, process optimization, and strategic energy management.

Steven is also an experienced facilitator, having regularly engaged with industrial customers to help identify energy saving measures and identify opportunities to improve customer engagement in the program. He brings prior experience as a consultant, where he supported clients with clean energy projects such as the development and use of models to assess the economic impact of climate change policies.

Steven believes in tackling the challenges of the energy transition head on, to not only reduce emissions but also to improve resilience, air quality, and comfort in our buildings  and reduce the impact on our energy systems.

Anirudh is an adept consultant with strong modelling skills and seven years of experience in energy storage, energy storage policy, market entry strategy and electricity wholesale markets. Before joining Dunsky, Anirudh worked at Strategen Consulting in Berkeley, California, where he helped policymakers chart out clean energy roadmaps and helped energy developers understand a project’s financial viability. He also advised corporate clients on market entry strategies for new/existing energy products and prepared comments for public proceedings. Anirudh holds a Master of Science in Energy Science Technology and Policy from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh (USA) and a Bachelor of Technology in Metallurgy and Material Science from the National Institute of Technology, Nagpur (India).

Anirudh has a thirst for solving complex problems and finding simple solutions that anyone can stomach. This thirst drives his strong desire to support and lead the way to a cleaner and equitable distribution and utilization of energy.

Olivier brings over seven years of experience working with leading actors in the energy transition and provides an outward-looking and empirical approach to strategic thinking. Drawing on his cross-Atlantic perspective, Olivier primarily supports corporate clients on ad hoc business model transformation challenges and sustainable growth opportunities, with a particular focus on the mobility and industrial sectors.

Olivier has a track record in strategy consulting as a former manager at Blunomy in Paris, where he notably advised industrial clients on their decarbonization strategy and financial institutions on the integration of ESG criteria into their investment practices. Prior to that, he took part – in a more operational role – in the deployment of distributed energy access solutions based on the Pay-As-You-Go model in West Africa. His early professional experience was in financing renewable energy projects and clean technology start-ups. Combined, these experiences have equipped him with extensive capabilities in stakeholder engagement, effective project organization and informed decision-making.

Olivier holds a master’s degree in applied economics in energy and climate as well as a bachelor’s degree in management, both from Université Paris-Dauphine – PSL. He speaks French and English fluently. Olivier is passionate about technological innovations and any form of initiative seeking to forge new ecosystems to make a Net Zero future possible.

Jasmine brings over five years’ experience in project management and program delivery. She leverages her diverse experience, which ranges from municipal planning and affordable housing to efficiency financing, building retrofits and investment funds, to offer a holistic perspective that takes into account the environmental, economic and social aspects of sustainability. Known for her problem-solving skills and for being an effective communicator, she has played a key role in the design and implementation of new programs and strategic plans, and for evaluating green building projects with triple bottom line benefits, in her work with clients from the public, private and not-for-profit sectors across Canada.

Fully bilingual, Jasmine holds a Bachelor of Arts in Urban studies from Concordia University, a Master of Urban Planning from Université de Montréal, and is completing a certificate in sustainable finance at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. Recognizing the untapped potential for climate action, Jasmine is motivated by her interest in developing innovative solutions that respond to ever evolving sustainability challenges and which drive market transformation, by looking at actions that can be taken today while setting the direction for the future.

Hugues-Antoine brings more than six years’ experience in project management and solution design with engineering-consulting firms and energy service companies (ESCOs). Attentive to his clients’ needs, Hugues-Antoine has successfully completed projects related to carbon-neutral buildings, LEED certification, heat pump integration, geothermal energy and strategic electrification. He also brings expertise in district energy systems, having led a pioneering project to recover heat from quantum computers to heat a residential neighborhood.

His experience with both public and private clients gives him an understanding of current market issues from both business and policy perspectives. Clients appreciate Hugues-Antoine’s clear communication style and energetic presence to help them solve their most complex energy issues.

Deeply implicated in the Montreal building sector, Hugues-Antoine is a part-time lecturer in energy efficiency at the Polytechnique Montréal. Until 2022, he was president of the youth wing of Bâtiment Durable Québec.

Hugues-Antoine holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with a specialization in buildings from Polytechnique Montréal. A member of the Order of Engineers of Québec, he holds a LEED Ecological Associate Certification, and is a LFA accredited professional, a certification issued by the International Living Future Institute. From the outset, Hugues-Antoine opted for, and continues to build, a career that enables him to make a positive and significant contribution to the fight against climate change.

Simone brings over six years of experience in the electric mobility sector supporting fleet and building owners with the adoption of EVs and charging infrastructure. Before joining Dunsky, Simone worked at The Atmospheric Fund (TAF) and managed an EV charging granting program to incentivize the installation of charging stations with buildings and municipalities in the Greater Toronto-Hamilton Area. Prior to this Simone worked in the vehicle telematics industry at FleetCarma and Geotab, leading the development of products and projects to support the electrification of fleets, smart charging, and electric vehicle research. During her career, Simone has worked with government entities, utilities, non-profits as well as industry actors. Simone holds a bachelor’s degree in science and business from the University of Waterloo. Simone’s career has been guided by an interest in climate action, which has developed into a passion for implementing innovative and highly scalable technology and climate change solutions.

William has over five years of experience in project management and design in the engineering consulting industry. A versatile professional, William has worked on innovative projects that integrated thermal storage, geothermal, radiant heating and cooling, and renewable energy production. He has led several decarbonization and energy efficiency studies for existing buildings and is recognized for his expertise in peak shavings and the integration of heat pumps. His ability to synthesize complex concepts into clear and concise executive documents that facilitate decision-making is consistently recognized and appreciated by clients.

William holds a master’s degree in energy engineering from École Polytechnique de Montréal, with a specialization in smart grids, and a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from HEC Montréal. William is guided by a desire to play a tangible role in addressing the critical climate and environmental issues we face. He is a LEED Green Associate and a member of the Order of Engineers of Québec.

Amara brings two+ years of experience in the energy sector, including experience in system modelling and optimization, renewable energy policy and data analytics. With Dunsky, she works frequently on heating electrification adoption modelling for projects supporting energy policy development, decarbonization and potential studies. She holds a master’s degree in energy science and technology from EPFL (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne), where she specialized in energy management and sustainability. Her master’s thesis focused on developing a Canadian version of EnergyScope, a sector-wide optimization-based techno-economic energy system model, and applying this to study what Canada’s energy system could look like in 2050 considering a net-zero target.

Previously, Amara worked with IRENA (the International Renewable Energy Agency) on an assessment of policies and measures for renewable energy in Africa and identifying gaps between the existence of policies, and the capacity for actual implementation. Amara also holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from McGill. She is passionate about sustainability, and driven to find solutions that accelerate a clean, just and inclusive energy transition.

Isabel brings three years of experience in economic and environmental modeling and quantitative research. Isabel supports a range of projects at Dunsky, including conducting research to inform strategies for EV-ready buildings for the Federation of Canadian Municipalities, as well as conducting a jurisdictional scan of climate policy frameworks to support Toronto Hydro’s Climate Action Plan. Prior to joining Dunsky, Isabel worked for Environment and Climate Change Canada, where she was a core member of the department’s economic modeling team responsible for modeling several key federal climate policies, including carbon pollution pricing, the clean fuel standard, the oil and gas emissions cap, and federal investments and budget measures. Among her numerous projects, Isabel was part of the small team of analysts behind the modeling for Canada’s 2030 Emissions Reduction Plan. Isabel also has experience working directly with provincial governments and industry stakeholders to support the development and implementation of effective carbon pricing systems across Canada.

Isabel holds a master’s degree in environment and sustainability from Western University, a bachelor’s degree in arts & science from McMaster University, and a professional certificate in clean power from Imperial College London. An avid problem-solver, Isabel is passionate about finding innovative solutions to advance the clean energy transition.

Felix has 10 years of experience at the intersection of climate, energy and land use policy. A strong communicator, convener, and analyst, Felix has successfully advanced low-carbon solutions at national, provincial and municipal levels. His areas of expertise include industrial transformation, public procurement, embodied carbon, and sustainable transportation.

Prior to joining Dunsky, Felix worked at Clean Energy Canada, a national climate policy think tank. There he advanced key policies – including a national “Buy Clean” strategy to prioritize low-carbon construction materials in public infrastructure – through building broad-based stakeholder coalitions and working closely with policy makers. He also has experience with provincial climate and planning issues from his time at the Office of the Auditor General of Ontario, Environmental Commissioner of Ontario, and Friends of the Greenbelt Foundation.

Originally from the UK, Felix has a background in ecology and philanthropy. He has a Master of Science in Ecology, Evolution and Conservation from Imperial College London, and a professional certification in sustainable investment from Concordia University. Felix’s work to accelerate the energy transition is inspired by a lifelong passion for nature, plus a deep interest in public policy and environmental justice.

Audrey brings a decade of experience in energy efficiency and renewable energy, conducting feasibility studies, managing projects and reducing greenhouse gas emissions for clients. In particular, her work encompasses biomass and electrification, and she has developed a solid expertise in energy issues in the agricultural sector, including issues related to greenhouses. As a consultant, she has supported clients in the private, industrial, and institutional sectors, and with environmental and international cooperative organizations.

Prior to joining Dunsky, Audrey was responsible for a team of analysts at an agro-environmental engineering firm, conducting complex energy studies and analysis. She holds a bachelor’s degree in bioresource engineering from McGill University as well as a master’s degree in energy recovery from agricultural residues.

With her interest finding solutions against climate change, Audrey is committed to taking an active role in the energy and ecological transitions that promote social justice.

Philippe combines an education in economics with industry experience in renewable energy and energy storage. Since joining Dunsky in 2021, Philippe has contributed to key projects such as an update to our economy-wide GHG reduction modelling for the province of Quebec in support of its 2030-2050 climate goals. Philippe brings experience in the development of predictive and optimization models through his work in energy storage, as well as experience in electricity markets, demand-side management and demand response. Philippe holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration as well as a master’s degree in applied economic from HEC Montreal. Philippe is driven by his passion for solving the climate crisis and how data can be leveraged to find opportunities for enabling the clean energy transition.

Nicolas has four years of experience in energy efficiency to support the decarbonization of the global building stock using cutting edge technologies. Prior to joining Dunsky, Nicolas worked at a startup focused on changing the HVAC automation industry by using AI and advanced control algorithms. His start-up experience only increased his natural curiosity and passion for problem-solving, driving him to seek out new ways to innovate and improve processes in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, Nicolas brings strong project management experience to his projects, as well as keen organization and prioritization skills. He has led several studies to assess the energy efficiency and flexibility opportunities of existing buildings and worked on scripting tools to measure the performance of the deployed control strategies. Working on a variety of projects in different locations, climates and industries has exposed Nicolas to a wide range of technical challenges and enabled him to develop a diverse set of skills related to building science, demand side management, energy modeling as well as electricity markets.

Nicolas holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a research master’s degree in energy engineering from Polytechnique Montréal, with a thesis focused on grid-interactive buildings leveraging thermal storage and the concept of Vehicle to Building (V2B) to reduce critical power peaks. He is a Certified Energy Manager and a member of the Order of Engineers of Québec.

Becoming an energy transition advisor is a natural fit for Nicolas. Passionate about outdoor sports, Nicolas is driven to create a more sustainable future through his work in this field.

Hannah brings seven years of experience in sustainable energy, environmental data analysis, and project management. Prior to joining Dunsky, she worked at an early-stage battery start-up, developing research-based energy storage use cases based on renewable energy and emissions markets. She also oversaw environmental assessment and remediation projects at EnGlobe Corp., building her project management and stakeholder engagement capacities. She has experience in developing community-based climate, energy and water education programs. Hannah holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental science and completed a master’s degree in clean energy engineering and business management from the University of British Columbia. Hannah believes evidence-based, elegant, and equitable energy solutions are core to the low-carbon transition.

Ali brings three years’ experience in the clean energy sector, with strong research skills and a nuanced understanding of analytics to optimize renewable energy assets. Prior to joining Dunsky, she was a senior analyst at Heliolytics where she was the project lead on several consulting opportunities to identify and assess key areas of PV system and portfolio underperformance, clarifying for clients where to focus remediation and O&M efforts to maximize return on investment. She was also the technical lead for all PV science related topics and was responsible for disseminating and translating complex technical information to both co-workers and clients. During her time as a graduate research assistant, Ali designed and implemented a marine spatial planning approach to assess how the geologic conditions of the Mid-Atlantic continental shelf could be utilized to delineate foundation selection, reduce CAPEX, and inform preferred regions of development for the advancement of future offshore wind projects.

Ali holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental science and policy from Plymouth State University and a master’s degree in geological sciences from the University of Delaware. She is excited about facilitating the development of a more efficient energy infrastructure through clean energy generation.

Emma has four years of experience in the environmental and sustainable energy sector and applies her research, analytical and communication skills to advance clean energy projects. Before joining Dunsky, she worked for Pollution Probe, an environmental charity, where she coordinated projects dedicated to advancing energy literacy and transitioning Canada to a low-carbon economy. Prior to this, Emma worked as a junior analyst and report specialist for a start-up company that uses aerial infrared technology to asses and report on solar PV sites and as a media and communications analyst for an environmental communications firm. Emma holds a bachelor’s degree in science from Queen’s University and a master’s degree in environmental science from the University of Toronto. Throughout her professional, academic, and personal life Emma prioritizes sustainability and climate change action as her core drivers.

Valentin brings four years of experience in renewables generation, off-grid microgrids, and industrial energy efficiency sectors. Before joining Dunsky, he worked as an analyst for an energy consulting firm based in Montreal to deliver M&V reports, EMIS audits, and Strategic Energy Management programs to drive operational energy savings in industrial & institutional facilities. Prior to this, as a project engineer at an energy research institute based in Singapore, he was part of the team that built South East Asia’s largest off-grid microgrid test & demonstration platform, gaining experience in the installation of solar PV, wind turbine, energy storage, and microgrid controllers. Valentin holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Monash University and a master’s degree in clean energy engineering and business management from the University of British Columbia.

Sanjana has a PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Nottingham, as well as eight years of professional experience in renewable energy and storage solutions. As a senior analyst at Dunsky, her projects focus on distributed generation and sustainable mobility. Previously Sanjana served as an energy analyst for a technology firm focused on energy and water conservation in multi-residential apartment buildings, and where she implemented migration to a new and more efficient energy monitoring platform. Prior to that Sanjana served as a senior consultant for a waste-management company in Toronto where she focused on repurposing EV batteries. In this role, she identified critical paths and resource availability, and developed a business model and go-to market strategy for the firm. Earlier in her career, Sanjana has worked to assess benefits for and build models for PV and energy storage integration to communities in the UK. She has also contributed to several publications on renewable energy, community energy, and clean mobility.

Sanjana is driven to be an active player in accelerating the transition to clean energy futures through the most equitable frameworks. She prioritizes environmental conservation and social justice to guide her professional and personal choices.

Claire is an experienced analyst with expertise in the field of energy efficiency and building sector decarbonization.

Before joining Dunsky, Claire worked in project development with guaranteed energy savings at Johnson Controls. In this role, she led all technical aspects of a $32 million deep retrofit project for a community center aiming for net-zero carbon operations. She also has experience in data analysis thanks to her work preparing calculations for energy savings and GHG reductions for other large-scale projects.

Previously, Claire worked at an engineering consulting firm where she was involved in the design of mechanical systems, conducted energy audits, and coordinated the requirements for obtaining LEED certifications.

Claire holds a bachelor’s degree in building engineering, is a member of the Quebec Order of Engineers, and is accredited as a CEM and LEED AP BD+C. Organized, meticulous, and possessing strong analytical and critical thinking skills, she is committed to maintaining the highest quality of the deliverables she produces for her clients. An avid outdoor enthusiast, Claire is motivated to contribute to the energy transition to preserve the incredible natural wealth of our planet for future generations.

Alex brings three years of experience in the energy sector and a background in energy markets, buildings, and GHG emissions reporting. At Dunsky, Alex is tasked with understanding current energy trends while employing his quantitative skills to help drive results within energy efficiency and demand response.

Before joining Dunsky, Alex worked as an energy data specialist on Brightly’s Energy & ESG team where he led portfolio-level GHG emission reporting duties and consulted large commercial real estate clients across North America on their energy forecasts and utility costs. Passionate about sustainability and data, Alex has developed models to forecast electricity & carbon market pricing to help clients meet their sustainability goals while also minimizing their energy costs.

Alex is bilingual (English & French) and holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Queen’s University in Kingston. His motivation for accelerating the clean energy transition stems from his love of the outdoors, energy, and problem-solving.

Antoine is an analyst at Dunsky, where he specializes in renewable energy and energy storage. He brings considerable experience in the implementation of numerical models related to thermodynamics and the optimization of storage infrastructures through experiences with Quebec’s National Institute of Scientific Research (INRS) and Hydro Quebec’s research center (IREQ). His work at INRS was the subject of a paper at the GeoNiagara 2021 conference and was featured in national media. Additionally, Antoine’s work on hydrogen storage was featured in the publication of a scientific paper and a speaking opportunity at the renowned International Renewable Energy Storage Conference (IRES) in Germany.

Through his non-academic research, Antoine also brings experience in financial engineering, risk management and machine learning. Antoine holds a B.Sc. in Geological Engineering from Laval University and completed a M.Sc. in Sustainable Energy Engineering at Reykjavik University in Iceland. He is currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program in Earth Sciences at INRS and his thesis focuses on hydrogen storage in cased boreholes.

Manasi brings over three years of experience working in the power generation and energy efficiency sector, which has allowed her to develop a divergent thinking process and equip her to approach challenges with a meticulous lens.

Prior to joining Dunsky, she gained valuable experience in asset management of utility-scale solar and hydro facilities by analyzing their operational and financial performance along with monitoring contractual and compliance matters. Manasi has also worked on early-stage development and design of solar power plants, as well as contributed to proposal development for private and public energy procurement opportunities. In addition, she has spent time conducting energy audits and coordinating energy retrofit projects for public infrastructure. Manasi holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering from the University of Waterloo and is in the process of becoming a LEED Green Associate. She has been committed to tackling climate change and promoting sustainability for many years and is actively involved in volunteering for local environmental groups in her free time.

Heidi brings two years of experience in economic, environmental, and climate modeling and quantitative research. Prior to joining Dunsky, Heidi was a core member of the model development and quantitative research division at Environment and Climate Change Canada. There, she was a lead writer for Canada’s 2050 net-zero long term strategy submission to the UNFCCC, where she conducted economic and environmental modelling to represent pathways to net-zero. Heidi was a key player in developing and enhancing the division’s integrated assessment model for long-term climate change analysis: some of her contributions to the model include further disaggregation of decarbonization technologies in various industries, and a climate module that calculates temperature rise, market damages associated with climate change, and the social cost of greenhouse gases.

Heidi holds a Master of Engineering in Sustainable Energy and Climate Change from Carleton University and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Physics from Mount Allison University. With a deep care for the environment, Heidi believes the key to fighting climate change is through collaboration, concrete action, and sufficient sustainable financing.

Angela is a senior analyst at Dunsky and leverages her ability to delve into detailed analytics while maintaining a focus on the broader strategic objectives to support clients. Angela brings four years of experience and has led a range of successful initiatives related to building electrification, transportation, and energy. This includes launching and expanding heat pump projects across residential communities, optimizing supply chains to reduce waste and transportation emissions, and helping to launch impactful global programs such as Mobile Service at Tesla.

Angela holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Waterloo. Her commitment to building more inclusive and sustainable communities is a consistent motivation in both her professional and volunteering roles.

Charles-Étienne has over 3 years of experience in the energy efficiency field related to commercial, institutional, and industrial buildings. His role as a consultant in a building engineering firm has provided him with an in-depth knowledge of energy programs and policies. Charles-Étienne has conducted numerous energy audits and played a key role in designing and implementing energy conservation measures. His involvement in all phases of energy efficiency projects has given him a deep understanding of the field and honed his expertise in energy efficiency measures and advanced energy modeling techniques. His meticulous attention to detail and commitment to excellence define the quality of his work.

Charles-Étienne holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from École de Technologie Supérieure in Montreal and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Energy Engineering at Polytechnique Montreal. He is a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ). Driven by his ambition to contribute to the energy transition and address contemporary environmental challenges, Charles-Étienne is dedicated to making a meaningful impact in his field.

Haryug is an analyst at Dunsky and leverages his background in building science and renewable energy systems to devise solutions that optimize energy consumption. His experience in PV system design and energy modelling allows him to seek holistic sustainable energy solutions.

With proficiency in data analytics and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology, Haryug facilitates informed decision-making supported by robust statistics and compelling data visualization strategies. Prior to joining Dunsky, he worked for Environment and Climate Change Canada’s Air Quality Research division where he analyzed and mapped a variety of hazardous pollutant emission data to quantify their localized impact on the atmosphere. He has also worked for Toronto Water where he honed his skills in GIS by helping to maintain the city of Toronto’s water infrastructure geodatabase.

Haryug holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering with a specialization in energy from the University of Waterloo. His commitment to accelerate the clean energy transition is driven by his passion for environmental sustainability and problem solving.

Léa is an analyst at Dunsky, specializing in the mobility and energy sectors. She applies her strong analytical background and transportation engineering knowledge to support impactful evidence-based decision-making.

Prior to joining Dunsky, Léa completed a research master on urban planning for low-stress bicycle accessibility for children and on GHG estimates from vehicles in Montreal by analyzing real-world emission measurements. Her research was presented at the Transportation Research Board (TRB) conference in Washington, DC, as well as at the Annual Sustainability Workshop in Karlsruhe University in Germany. She was also a lead author of the Environmental Roadmap for France’s leading energy producer, gaining valuable strategic skills and insights in the French energy market, deforestation assessment, and water compensation schemes.

Léa is bilingual and holds a research master’s degree in civil engineering from McGill University, and a master’s degree in engineering from Centrale-Supélec, France. Her motivation for promoting a clean low-carbon future comes from a passion for using problem-solving skills at the service of the environment.

Houssem is an analyst at Dunsky. He combines over three years of research experience in the fields of renewable energy, energy efficiency in buildings and electric mobility. During his academic career, Houssem’s research focused on the techno-economic modeling and simulation of various energy systems including building integrated solar photovoltaics, energy storage and EV charging stations. His latest research project was conducted at the Laboratory of Energy Technologies of Hydro-Québec, where he worked on developing a numerical model for simulating the performance and controls of electric thermal storage devices. Houssem also gained professional experience in the solar industry while working as a solar PV engineer in Tunisia.

Houssem is driven by a desire to accelerate the energy transition and a deep passion for technology, technical problem solving and innovation. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Energy with a specialization in renewable energies from the University of Monastir, a Master of Energy Systems Engineering from West Virginia University and is currently completing a Master of Mechanical Engineering at École de technologie supérieure in Montréal. He is also fluent in English, French and Arabic.

Tommy is a marketing & communications professional with more 15 years of experience supporting organizations in the private and public sectors to create impactful messaging and developing deeper relationships with their clients or stakeholders. Tommy brings particular experience in the development of communication and marketing strategy, the management of digital channels, as well as visual identity and brand management. He brings a collaborative approach to his work and a strong focus on supporting client needs.

Prior to joining Dunsky, Tommy worked in a marketing leadership role at a national professional services firm where he oversaw digital marketing and branding. He also worked in communications for a Member of Parliament, among other roles.

Tommy is passionate about public affairs and telling compelling stories with a purpose. He is excited to bring Dunsky’s story to the market and work toward a cleaner, more sustainable future.

Julia brings over four years of experience in the fields of marketing and communications. Prior to joining Dunsky, she immersed herself in the startup world, assisting companies in developing and implementing strategies to increase sales, enhance brand awareness, and foster partnerships. Julia’s expertise also includes creating bilingual content for multi-channel campaigns. One of the companies Julia collaborated with was dedicated to sustainable mobility, a sector she found particularly fascinating.

Complementing her bachelor’s degree in business administration, Julia is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on strategic marketing. Intrigued by linguistics, writing, translation, and editing, she has also embarked on a graduate diploma in translation and terminology.

Outside the professional realm, Julia dedicates her free time to nature, reveling in outdoor activities. This passion for the environment aligns with her values, making environmental protection a cause close to her heart. She is proud to be a part of a mission-driven organization taking tangible steps to make a positive impact on the environment.

Marjorie has a strong passion for sustainable development and has nine years of varied experience in administration, customer service and event planning. Before joining the Dunsky team, she worked in administration for Aon and HEC Montréal, as well as several events. In particular, she coordinated the very first Plastic Forum with Novae, a hub for social innovation and sustainable development in Montreal.

Marjorie also worked as a flight attendant for Air Transat for five summers and carried out an awareness campaign to reduce the use of plastic on planes. It was while travelling and volunteering internationally that she discovered a passion for conserving the environment. She is bilingual, has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and is strongly committed to sustainability.

Sophie has 19 years of experience in accounting and administration for non-profit organizations and companies specialized in energy. She has been with our team for 10 years and has also held the position of administrative and research assistant at the Helios Centre.

Sophie has also worked as a proof-reader for six years. The challenges of small businesses do not frighten her, and it is always with enthusiasm that she treats, sorts and manages income and expenses. For five years, Sophie was the treasurer on the board of directors of her daughters’ daycare. And for the past seven years, she has been active at different levels in the environmental committee of their primary school. She does not see herself working anywhere other than in a company or organization where everyone is dedicating their lives to improving the future of the planet.

Elena brings over 10 years of experience in the tourism and hospitality industries. Trilingual, Elena worked in many countries around the globe including Spain, the UK, and México. Prior to joining Dunsky, she held front office management positions, managing customer service tasks as well as administrative ones. She was also responsible for delivering continuous training to the team, planning and organizing internal meetings, and creating and revising standards of procedures.

It was during a volunteering break in Guatemala that Elena thought about ways to redirect her professional life toward her true passion, working for a more sustainable future. After pursuing studies in CSR, sustainability, and corporate reputation, she was glad to join the Dunsky team.

Cindy brings over six  years of experience in human resources management, including recruitment, talent management, HR administration, and payroll. Her expertise spans generalist roles and specialized functions, showcasing her comprehensive skills in the field.

Before joining the Dunsky team, Cindy spent four years at Alstom. She spent two years in France focusing on recruitment and another two years in Montreal with the Talent Management team, where she was responsible for their Canadian internship and co-op program. Cindy is bilingual and holds a master’s degree in international human resources management from Rennes School of Business.

Cindy’s commitment to environmental protection is rooted in her involvement with a student association dedicated to sustainable development during her business school years, as well as her studies and travels in Norway. Her professional experience in sustainable mobility further underscores her dedication to this field.

Justine comes to Dunsky with 8 years of experience working in visual communications and sustainability. Combining her interests for sustainability with design, she is passionate about creating engaging visuals to contextualize complex information for key decision-makers.

Prior to joining our team, she obtained a B.Sc. in environment from McGill University and worked as outreach and design coordinator for the Sustainability Action Fund based at Concordia University. During the 4.5 years she held her position, Justine developed a more focused interest for design, in particular graphic and web. She eventually deepened this growing curiosity by pursuing a BFA in Design at Concordia University. As a designer, Justine strongly believes in using her creative eye to bring attention to ideas that initiate, grow, and sustain a sense of care for all.

Fernanda brings over seven years of experience in administrative and financial roles, showcasing a strong ability to manage office operations with precision and efficiency. Throughout her career, her adaptability and proficiency have been cultivated across diverse industries, including construction, banking and finance, and logistics and transportation. Additionally, she holds a diploma in International Business, which has provided her with a solid foundation for navigating global business environments.

Beyond her professional achievements, she holds a deep passion for contributing to the clean energy sector and firmly believes in its potential to create a sustainable future for generations to come. This personal commitment drives Fernanda to actively seek opportunities where she can utilize her skills and experience to support clean energy initiatives and make a meaningful impact.
